Our Lady of Grace School draws its primary water supply from a large well, or borehole, on the school property. However, this borehole is gradually filling with silt and iron deposits, and at this point we cannot draw any water from it at all.
Since the borehole supplies most of the water for our school, we desperately need to repair it. Currently, we depend on very limited rainwater supplies, which are not nearly enough to meet our students’ needs.
To fix the borehole, we need to engage a company to excavate and repair it, a process called flashing. The total cost to restore the borehole is $5,433. (For a detailed description of the process and its costs, see the full quote supplied by the company.)
